The SeM20 is a unique 2 pole Variable State Filter which takes its cues from the Oberheim SEM. The resonance section is based on the MS20 filter, adding a little something wild to the smooth SEM style response. The filter itself does not self-oscillate without an input, for example the High Pass out patched back into the input stage. The input stage itself is at maximum volume with the pot at 12 o’clock, beyond that the input will distort. The SeM20 ranges from silky and smooth to tough and abrasive, all in one filter.
The SeM20 VSF offers two CV inputs with attenuators, 12db outputs for high pass, low pass, and notch response, and a 6db output for band pass. Additionally, there is a Notch Balance pot to sweep notch response between high pass and low pass.
