TipTop Audio CB808 Analog Cow Bell Drum Module

Lovingly adapted for Eurorack, the CB808 brings the playful cowbell konk of the TR-808 to a tremendously small format. This module adds a pitch modulating LFO to the classic sound of the 808 cowbell. Beyond being a simple duplicate of the circuit, Tiptop added functionality from years of 808 implementation. Primary to this is the extended range of the Level knob, providing gain and distortion sufficient to add harmonics to the CB808 signal, a technique traditionally realized through outboard pre-amps and distortion circuits. For ease of operation, Tiptop designed a dual pulse-shaper circuit on the input, so that any trigger, gate, pulse, or clock will perform correctly with the CB808, regardless of power differences from the source.
