Nerd Audio is a small boutique synthesizer shop in Chicago, Illinois, located inside of America's oldest DJ shop, Midwest Pro Sound & Lighting. Established in 2012, Nerd Audio specializes in desktop synthesizers, Eurorack modular synthesizers, and other hardware production tools.

We stock gear from both the major industry players like Behringer, Roland, Novation, and Elektron, as well as independent manufacturers like Make Noise, Mutable Instruments, Qu-Bit Electronix, Tiptop Audio, and many more, and we also carry a full range of synthesizer cables and accessories from brands like Hosa and Bored Brain.

Nerd Audio sells both new and used gear, and we also have a consignment program to help local synth-heads sell their rare and vintage items in-store.
