STG Soundlabs .COM
The STG Soundlabs .COM is a suboctave divider and comparator module in 4hp. This module is inspired by the suboctave and pulse width modulation circuitry on the SH-101.
Inputs are as follows:
Singal Input: patch your incoming pulse wave here.
Threshold Control with Input: The pot controls the “flip” point of the comparator, which has a range of plus/minus five volts. This is the pulse width control. The input is summed with the manual pot, allowing for external control of the threshold. This is the pulse width modulation input.
The five outputs which follow are 10 volt peak to peak, optimized for the widest variety of audio applications:
First output is the comparator output, with a full 0 to 100 percent pulse wave available.
Second output is a 50 percent pulse wave, one octave lower than main output.
Third output is variable, between one and forty-nine percent, one octave lower than main output.
Fourth output is a 50 percent pulse wave, two octaves below the main output.
Fifth output is a 25 percent pulse wave, two octaves lower than the main output.
